Life Is Goodenough

We had an incredible PINK ZONE event on Sat. Feb 21, for Breast Cancer Awareness. Several fund raisers were going on during our game with all of the proceeds benefitting the Kay Yow Foundation. CROCs sent us pink crocs to sell while our CSU soccer team sold pink lemonade and Bruster’s sold pink ice cream for the event. I would like to say thank you to several individuals who helped tremendously with the event. Thanks to Tam Odom, Beth Boyle, and Brooke Kakassy for organizing, promoting, and running the campaign. Thank you to the girls scouts who passed out pink ribbons and sold Girl Scout cookies. Thanks to James Bradley for always having the Buc Dome ready for our games, and having extra tables, chairs, and whatever else might be needed for special events. Thank you to everyone who bought the pink crocs, (lots of men’s basketball and football players!) which were sold before tipoff! Thanks to everyone who donned their pink gear for the special night! Not only was it a huge success for a worthy cause and proceeds to a worthy foundation established by one of the classiest women’s basketball coaches, the former NC State head coach, Kay Yow, but also the Bucs dominated the court with an impressive victory over Big South foe, Radford! What a fun night to remember!

And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. Col. 3:17
