Weekly Recap - December 7 - 14

Not much happening on the field/court of competition this week as the student-athletes emphasized the “student” part of their title, taking on finals. Those are finishing up, which means we are able to get back to competition on Wednesday. We will fit five games in over the next week before taking another break for Christmas.

Even without competing, Shaun Bisson has been named this week’s CSU Athlete of the Week. Bisson will represent Canada (and CSU) next week as he carries the Olympic Torch as part of the relay that takes the single Olympic flame across Canada to Vancouver, home of the 2010 Winter Olympic Games.

Bisson will get his turn down a 400m stretch on December 22 in Ridgetown, Ontario, a small town just outside his hometown of Sarnia. You can read more about this story here
