Today was quite a day. This is the smallest indoor meet that we have been to all year. From Virginia Tech to East Tennessee to New York City to Clemson and we still haven't seen it all. Still, with only nine teams competing at the conference championship, we still have to fight to keep our standings and be able to score points. There isn't much pressure in the air because this is a place where we have been before. For some, this is their first collegiate meet period. It has been fun to see how a lot of the freshmen have stepped it up and have qualified for the finals in day 2. I think it helps the upperclassmen to realize that somebody is on their heels when they least expect. The team is evenly balanced and has standouts in every area of competition. Sprints, throws, distance have all recognized throughout the team. As day 1 came to a close, it was just in preparation for day 2...
